Frequently Asked Questions
about Restroom Trailers

Q. What's the difference between a restroom trailer and a portable toilet?

A restroom trailer has private stalls, real flushing toilets and mirrored vanities with lights.

Q. Why should I consider a restroom trailer for my event?

A restroom trailer offers the maximum level of comfort and pampering for your guests.

Q. What size restroom trailer should I get for my event?

The size depends on number of guests, ratio of males to females, duration of the event and the amount of food and beverages served, and whether or not an intermission or peak period of use will occur during your event.  Give our Event Specialist a call to help you determine the best option for your event.

Q. Do I need water or electricity to have a trailer at my event?

Restroom trailers require electricity to run their lights, heating, air conditioning and pressure pumps for water. Trailers have different requirements. Larger models usually require two or three 30-amp circuits; in remote locations, a generator can be used to power the trailer. Smaller models require one or two 20-30 amp circuits for power. Some trailers are completely self-contained for their water supply, but some do require a garden hose hook-up, while others can increase their capacity with a hookup. Call our Event Specialist to find the perfect solution for you!

Q. How much does restroom trailer service cost?

The cost of renting a restroom trailer varies by size and style of trailer, the season and your location. When you order, we quote a price with no hidden costs, and include delivery, set-up, supplies, waste disposal, and timely pick up at the end of your event. We can also supply an attendant to keep restrooms clean and well-stocked throughout your event.

Q. How far in advance do I need to reserve my restroom trailer?

Our trailers are in high demand and are often reserved a year in advance. It is best to reserve your trailer as soon as your date is confirmed.

Q. I am running a multi-day event.  How are trailers serviced and cleaned?

We will work with you to set up a maintenance schedule to ensure that your trailer is continuously in proper working order.  Our experts can schedule service to best fit the schedule of your event, such as servicing trailers before or after peak hours.  We maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and rigidly inspect and test our trailers for optimum performance.

Q. What about extremes in weather or remote locations?

Most of our trailers are equipped with heating and air conditioning.  For cold climates, some of our equipment is fully winterized to ensure proper function even in freezing weather.  Our expert delivery and installation teams have set up trailers in locations ranging from snow-covered mountaintops in Aspen to highly congested, urban settings.  We’re always up for a challenge and committed to finding a solution that works for your situation.
